With a love for the outdoors and a talent for crafting unforgettable stories, Justin Hannam is bringing thrilling adventures to life for young readers. Inspired by his work as co-founder of The Outdoor Learning Company and his adventures with his family, he's now channelling his storytelling talents into writing.
Justin’s debut projects include two exciting middle-grade chapter book series: The Bulbury Chronicles and The Lightning Tree, with no less than four thrilling books set to launch over the next two years.
With a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts, Justin graduated from Staffordshire University in 2004 and has worked with children ever since. His creative storytelling ability goes hand in hand with his understanding of his audience—the perfect mix as he embarks on his journey as an author.
Justin's stories are shaped by the same adventurous spirit that fuels his life. His narratives sweep readers into vibrant landscapes, camaraderie, and discoveries that echo his own experiences in the wild. The Bulbury Chronicles
Follow four adventurers as they chase their passion for creating their very own newspaper, ‘The Bulbury Chronicles’. Each book sees the young journalists battle against the odds to find the best stories within the Bulbury Forest, often crimes need to be solved, and the bad guys caught. Large woodlands and plenty of rugged coastline make up their playground. Adventure comes from all directions.
The first book ‘Mystery of the Missing Horses’ sees three good friends become four when an unexpected visitor comes to stay. It doesn’t take long until they find themselves knee-deep in a crime that no one else can see is even happening. A secret headquarters, undercover heroes, surveillance missions, friendship, inquiries, near misses and daring rescues are all part of their story. Do they have what it takes to uncover the truth before it’s too late?
